Principle of microwave sensor
The microwave emitted by the transmitting antenna will be absorbed or reflected when it encounters the object under test, causing the power to change. Microwave detection is realized by using the receiving antenna to receive the microwave reflected back by the measured object or the measured object, and convert it into an electrical signal, which is then processed by the measuring circuit.
Microwave sensor is mainly composed of microwave oscillator and microwave antenna. A microwave oscillator is a device that generates microwaves. The devices that make up microwave oscillators are klystron, magnetron, or some solid element. The oscillating signal generated by the microwave oscillator is transmitted using a waveguide and transmitted through the antenna. In order to make the transmitted microwaves have a consistent directivity, the antenna should have a special construction and shape.
